My medium is pastel on paper. I do multiple layers of the pastel to achieve richness and depth of color. The images are oversized fruits and vegetables. I’m drawn to the sensuality of the shapes and colors and simplicity of composition. I also use small animals and insects in bits of collage or graphite as a contrasting element to the larger simplicity of the fruit.
