Sheila Walters

Each original work begins with a black & white photo image,printed by the artist using film and traditional technique. It is then painted in select areas with oil paint to create a surrealistic effect. Recycled objects are added to the photo to engage the observer in becoming a participant in the work. The artists work has been described as photographic anthropology displayed with museum quality. The artists lives and works in her home in the middle of 20 wooded acres in Michigan. A professional artist for 16 years, she has won many awards and her work is found in corporate and private collections across the country.
