Sean Hill

I have been designing and making my own jewelry since 1998. I am an entirely self-taught jeweler. My background was mostly scholarly. I taught and published on Critical Thinking for more than 20 years as a PhD Professor of French Literature. For years, I worked mostly on big silver sculptural one-of-a-kind pieces, using precious stones, shells, fossils or meteorites. I decided later to turn to a less traveled area of jewelry making. After years of trials and errors with various brands of new high tech Epoxies and Bakelite, I finally created an extensive line of silver jewelry inlaid with a bright and colorful Gem Grade resin.
