he material used in primary structure is classic proportioned Shibuichi which is manipulated under extreme heat, torn, re-fused, reticulated & re-formed. Patinas are through depletion gilding & slowly torching in layers of Raku-like tone. Stones are set to 22k & 14k gold w/surface detail in 18k. The attempt is to create work that has the simplicity of torn paper & a natural appearance, enhanced with geometric shapes in precious materials.
