My paintings are done with oil paint on canvas or linen. In some of my paintings I use oil pastel to add texture and highlights.Being a painter of landscape, I have an intense awareness of my surroundings. I am constantly sketching and taking reference photographs. I combine multiple photographs and sketches to create the final painting.My travels take me all over the country, so I don’t consider myself a regional Artist, my art is of the American landscape.Although nature is an inexhaustible source of inspiration, my art is an interpretation, not representation of nature.All reproductions are marked as such and printed on 100% cotton rag watercolor paper. None are in editions of more that 250.
