Nicole Turner

Nicole Turner is an emerging artist living and working in Fort Worth, Texas. From an early age she knew that art was something she loved, something that both intrigued and moved her. As a young girl growing up in Topeka, Kansas she would often accompany her mother to her äóÖart nookäó» and watch as her mother crafted and painted. Through years of watching and learning, Nicoleäó»s passion to create and design has continued to grow. This passion led her to the University of North Texas where she excelled in the study of Graphic Design. Her ability and creative passion eventually led to her creating her work, building a diverse portfolio of unique and creative pieces.

An innovative thinker, Nicole strives to create art that is outside the äóÖnormäó» through the creation of multimedia art and a unique process she calls äóÖsculptured painting.äó» When creating each sculptured painting, Nicole uses only acrylic paint. Through a series of special processes she is able to literally layer, build, and sculpt each piece to create a 3 dimensional painting, bring each sketched image to life. Nicoleäó»s ever expanding portfolio includes a temporary installation entitled äóÖThe Wall äóñ g.d.t.k.gäó» which was on display at Tarrant Community College during the spring of 2012. Other examples of her work have been displayed at various art fairs, festivals, and local businesses, including Contemporary Art Fair – NYC.
