Vinosus Handmade’s inaugural line, Conquest, is just that; a challenge to obtain innovative forms within the limitations of cold metal fusion, the nature of the human figure and the ubiquitous influence of gravity With a unique vision Marty and Brit-Simone cultivated a remarkable jewelry line with kinetic components all from the premise of an absence of soldering. Vinosus Handmade now introduces Ascension, an arresting and empowering jewelry line featuring 18 karat gold, 14 karat gold, sterling silver, blackened sterling silver and diamonds. An extension of the original line, Ascension reveals elegant and detailed craftsmanship, including soldering, with enchanting gemstones. Through seven years apprenticing for two Seattle jewelers, Marty Kneeland found the bliss and enrichment that seeded the inception of Vinosus Handmade concepts. While establishing the fundamentals of metalsmithing, Marty’s creativity found a place to flourish. Marty’s insatiable appetite for learning drove him to complete an Associates of Arts and Sciences, as well as, courses at Pasadena Art Center and several other schools for art and design. After graduating from Seattle University with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, Brit-Simone began enhancing the endowment of her business skills through an eleven year special events management career focusing in marketing, management, accounting, sales, public relations, customer service and event logistics. Life’s stepping stones which Marty and Brit-Simone independently forged, coalesced in 2001 as they launched collectively into a new realm of being. Vinosus Handmade is a reflection of-the enrichment both Marty and Brit-Simone enjoy living each day. Their union created the foundation for the artistic expression patiently waiting to erupt. With a history of talent and dedicated careers, Vinosus Handmade blossomed in 2002 from dreamy imagination into the dynamic enterprise it is today. In four years, Vinosus Handmade has flourished from concept to a prominent jewelry line featured in over 100 galleries nationwide.
