I continuously transform my life through my art whether it be with paint, ceramic, mosaic, photography, performance or writing. My canvas paintings began from a life change in 2003, when all my emotions drove the colors of my soul onto the canvas. I took the one thing that I was secure with and brought it into the world with unabashed exuberance.Given the space to create without boundaries, I work in my studio painting through my journey. Each painting begins with the background color: builds layer by layer, stroke by stroke, detail upon detail until it is signed. I never know what colors will be chosen, but dutifully trust the guidance given. I never know what my soul has in store for my next painting. I sit in front of the canvas with a paint brush in hand and before I can blink, my face is lit with joy. Each painting moves me in someway: laughter, comfort, passion, playfulness¢äÎ_ and I am always excited to see it completed.
