Brad Albright

Drawn in a line-art style reminiscent of underground comics and classical woodcut engravings, my work is equally inspired by comics, album covers, band tees, literature, film, and television. Using a combination of pen and ink and digital tablet and stylus, my drawing process and approach to composition and narrative merges a traditional fine art studio training with a 21st century illustrator’s toolbox and sensibility. Whether translating the influence of pop-culture, exploring the alluring danger of the Wild West, or celebrating the multi-sensory live music experience, my work is often presented in old-school anaglyphic 3D with provided glasses for a modern take on a nostalgic interactive viewing experience.
