Gelatin Silver Surreal Montage Photographs created using conventional films and darkroom techniques. Through the unique process of conventional photography images are created using complex dark techniques on gelatin silver photographic paper adhering to the highest archival standards. The mystical and ethereal images abound with symbolism and poetry. The artist is the sole craftsperson from capturing the original images on film, the darkroom manipulation using several enlargers and the occasional application of photographic transparent oil paints to the surface of the finished photograph. Silk substrate imags have recently been added to the process.
