Shaari Horowitz

Together we make wood bowls. Their interiors become a canvas for a story in design and patinated gold, while the simply finished exteriors remains true to the wood itself. Guided by an old world palette, our patterns & imagery stem from classical sources such as ancient textiles and illuminated manuscripts. Our own histories in traditional furniture-making & mural-painting lead us to this unique collaboration while working on a more intimate scale.
