UPDATE FOR FRIDAY, APRIL 21: Chaka Demus and Pliers will not be performing tonight. Vinyl Stripes will take the stage in their place at 9:00 PM on the UTA Main Stage.
"MUSIC ON MAIN" is where literally hundreds of performers give it their all on four stages along the streets of downtown, rockin' and rollin' for four days at Fort Worth's largest, FREE, music festival.
The entire 2017 lineup is complete! Get ready for headliners Bettye LaVette, Doyle Bramhall II, The Rocketboys, Elephant Revival, Rodney Crowell, and the Acrobats of Cirque-tacular.
The Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra returns for a command performance on Friday afternoon, and The Cliburn presents the 2013 Cliburn Competition Third Place winner, Sean Chen, on Sunday. Ruben Ramos and the Revolution, Austin Allsup, the Lao Tizer Band feat. Karen Briggs, Dave Alexander and Sean McConnell round out headliners for this year.
The Frost "Locals Only" Stage on 7th Street returns, featuring great hometown acts Cut Throat Finches, Josh Halverson, Reagan James, the Joey Green Band, Grady Spencer and the Work, and the Summer Dean Band. The inaugural Hip Hop Soul R&B Showcase presented by Buttons Restaurant takes place on Saturday.
The University of Texas at Arlington sponsors the UTA MAIN Stage at 9th Street. The Dallas-Fort Worth Professional Musicians Union Trust Fund provides direct funding for much of our daytime entertainment. Special thanks also to Sundance Square for their sponsorship of the Sundance Square Stage, and the Star-Telegram for their support of the Star-Telegram Performing Arts Stage. Stay tuned for a new, "pop up," stage at the intersection of 1st Street and Main Street each evening beginning at 8:30!
